Or work with our pre-primed shiplap options, speeding up your installation and getting you closer faster to the opaque white or splashes of color your walls desire.

Healthy Walls for Your Home

DOUGLAS FIR

Douglas fir is a classic material in the Pacific Northwest where these FSC-certified trees grow in abundance. Our Douglas fir shiplap is vertical grain, highlighting the clean striping of the wood through an array of finish colors. It is also available pre-primed and ready for your favorite paint brand and color.

LARCH

Larch is native to the Pacific Northwest and it’s swirling grain gives a natural softness to a room. We like it because it’s an underutilized species, meaning that upon harvest it is typically mixed in with Doug fir or separated out for use as heating fuel. Larch as shiplap material shines with stain colors or when pre-primed ready for paint.

ACCOYA®

For wall spaces that blend the inside to the outside, Accoya is a perfect shiplap species. This pine is modified through a process of “acetylation” where food-grade vinegar is added to the wood. This changes the structure of the wood fiber, in a non-toxic way, making it extremely stable, moisture, rot, and pest resistant. Accoya is accredited by FSC® and is Cradle to Cradle Gold certified™and comes with a 50-year warranty. This shiplap takes well to stains and paints or can be left to weather naturally.
