Baldwin School - Philadelphia, PA
This innovative school remodeling project utilized Pioneer Millworks Settlers’ Plank Flooring in its design. The original building housed an indoor pool, with a footprint of approx. 3,500 square feet, and consisted mainly of a large open space where pool was excavated. To make the most out of the space and avoid unnecessary costs, the void formerly occupied by the pool was converted into a sunken seating area, which can be accessed by steps or a ramp; but it can also be covered over as needed, to maximize the efficiency of the space.
