We've  processed over 1 million board feet of reclaimed wood for the past 25 years, saving this wood from landfills, incineration, and rot. Facility & Machine Tech Manager — McMinnville, OR

Our small manufacturing world needs someone who knows a lot about all the things that keep us running, from fleet trucks and forklifts to production equipment and facility maintenance. If preventative machine maintenance and basic electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and mechanics are part of your toolbox, we want to speak with you.

We need a Facilities/Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for our West Coast branch location facilities and equipment. This job will include, but is not limited to maintaining: milling equipment, fleet vehicles, minor electrical & plumbing, and the upkeep and appearance of our buildings.

Your skills should include:

  • 5+ years of mechanical experience for maintenance of rolling stock including forklifts, cars and trucks
  • Knowledge of woodworking machinery including planers, moulders, saws and CNC equipment
  • Machinery wiring and troubleshooting
  • Experience with general facility/building maintenance (limited carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and repairs)
  • Metal fabrication and machine building
  • Work with sub-contractors to facilitate building repairs and upgrades
  • Oversee grounds and physical plant
  • Support and adhere to safety regulations and programs/inspections
  • Able to communicate in writing, phone and email
  • Ability to work independently, give direction to others and anticipate needs from departments within the organization
  • Administering a preventative maintenance program
  • Team attitude, with a willingness to learn and has some flexibility
  • Valid Driver’s License

Production Team Member—McMinnville, OR & Farmington, NY

Pioneer Millworks is a reclaimed and sustainable wood company, sourcing wood from across the country and beyond. At our mills in Farmington NY and McMinnville, OR we craft flooring, paneling, siding, posts and beams, furniture, and more.

We're looking for a mill team member at our Farmington, NY and McMinnville, OR locations. This position's role will help in the production of high-end flooring and paneling. Duties include, but are not limited to, sorting and stacking lumber, operating semi-automated milling tools, removing nails from reclaimed wood, general shop cleanup, and preparing pallets of finished products for shipment (wrapping and labeling).

Finishing Team Member — Farmington, NY

Pioneer Millworks is a reclaimed and sustainable wood company, sourcing wood from across the country and beyond. At our production mills in Farmington NY and McMinnville, OR we craft flooring, paneling, siding, posts and beams, furniture, and more.

We're looking for a finishing team member at our Farmington, NY location. This hands-on position will include applying various paints, stains, and oil/wax finishes to create our specialty high-end flooring and paneling.
