Working for Pioneer Millworks Reclaimed and Sustainable Wood Products

Pioneer Millworks operates on the triple bottom line—a simple belief that people, planet, and profit work together to ensure a better future. We give to our local and global communities.

Our coworkers are more than just employees, they’re part of what makes our company timeline long and successful. We are a work well, pay well company—we pay our employees at least $15 after 90 days. We care about our craftsmen, we all work hard, and that transfers into every one of our client projects. With of these investments in our people, we have begun the process to become an employee-owned company.

When you work with us, you are working in a mill a shop that runs on solar power and is heated from our own timber scrap. We've  processed over 1 million board feet of reclaimed wood for the past 25 years, saving this wood from landfills, incineration, and rot. Our Earth is a place we want to leave well for the next generation through buildings that are energy-efficient and enduring.

When we take care of our people and our planet, we are more profitable. This enables us to invest in efforts that make a difference to our workers’ families, our local and global communities, creates a healthier planet, and most importantly builds a thoughtful company that creates quality partnerships.

Pioneer Millworks doesn't discriminate for all the right reasons, but we are partial to smart people with lots of common sense. We prefer email responses to the posts below, but you can always come to our mills to fill out an application if you do not have access to email.
