A simple material palette is the foundation for this modern mountain home in Vermont. The family home mixes the industrial elements of Douglas fir glulams and steel framing with softer wide casual oak and brushed Shou Sugi Ban. Built into the mountain, the lower level includes a rock wall, tuning shop, and skateboard ramp, while the main level is for living, entertaining and savoring the stratified views of the surrounding Green Mountains.
