The Saw Crew -- New York

Whether resawing timbers and joists or edging found boards, this team is responsible for transforming the raw rough stock of our yard inventory into kiln-dried, defected, straight-edged board stock and clean sawn timbers. Keeping up with the saws means that these guys are accustomed to hard work. But that doesn't mean there isn't time to pause and listen to Cal spin a tale about a raccoon he once trapped as a kid or perhaps share a story about an employee that once worked here 12 years ago. Or listen to Bob have a battle of the bands debate with Steve. Still, nobody handles more material than these very capable fellows or has more intimate knowledge of our saws. Occasionally you'll find them posting pictures of themselves on Facebook or Instagram, standing triumphantly with bundles of boards after an epic day of work.
