Skyline™ is a multifaceted large scale cladding system developed from over thirty years of building material experience by Pioneer Millworks. Designed with a variance of locations and usages in mind, Skyline™ will work for commercial or residential, cabins or skyscrapers. Feature walls, lobbies, and customizable exterior siding arrays are only a small example of the myriad of uses for our multidimensional cladding. 

What began as a sketch on a napkin by Pioneer Millworks sales manager Jered Slusser and Pioneer Millworks mid-Atlantic salesperson A.J. Henion was already being put into motion on the opposite coast by Pioneer Millworks west coast operations manager Jonathan Taylor. A weekly zoom meeting revealed the similar inspiration, and Taylor took the lead on bringing Skyline™ to life. From first idea to fruition, Skyline™ is where functionality meets artistic desire.

An opportunity for designers who work with Skyline™ is the ability to invent your own pattern. Skyline™ gives you complete control. Entirely customizable, Skyline™ encourages interaction and invites creativity with its array of proprietary colors and sizes that can be artistically puzzle-pieced into contemporary or classic designs. These can be as simple or as complex as your project requires. 

Several specialized motifs can be used for both interior ambiance and exterior curb appeal. The plethora of heights and widths are completely interchangeable allowing for countless combinations, textured or subtle, static, or with implied movement. No matter the combination, Skyline™ will provide a seamless look as there are no visible fasteners, and all lengths and sizes are joined by tongue and groove.

Formulated for indoor or outdoor applications, Skyline’s™ usage is as diverse as its design possibilities. For outdoor projects, Skyline™ exterior cladding retains its creative flexibility but is specifically designed for the rigors of the outside. Exterior Skyline™ comes in twelve different lengths up to 16’ long, three colors, and is sourced from Accoya wood. Slusser explains, “Accoya was the way to create this, because it’s the only wood you can do different widths and thicknesses that will remain stable.” It is also impervious to rot. 

For interior applications, Skyline™ is available in nine color variations and is made from Poplar or Maple, both wood types that are FSC Certified and completely harvested from sustainable forests.
